After four intense weeks of renovation, mostly during ‘De Boekenbeurs’, the Huis van het Boek (boek.be) at the Te Boelaerlei in Borgerhout was delivered on the 3rd of December.
The design realizes a new entrance with reception and flex workspaces on the first floor. The new flex space has a floor high multiplex shelve wall and an acoustically dividable informal meeting room.
In the spring of 2013 the outer joinery of the house will be replaced. Later on the to upper floors may be renovated in a similar way, which will create a three-storey high bookcase.
