META is a driven architecture firm with extensive experience, both in the private and public sectors.

For META, architecture is a craft that requires craftsmanship. This way, every design question can receive a well-developed solution without taking the easy way out or the well-trodden path. The designs can therefore be somewhat stubborn, offer resistance or even create friction, but they always make the building process simple, even self-evident.

As designer and builder, META takes the freedom to be ambitious. To design a building as accurately as possible so that function and use become easily adaptable. To allow a design to let a building write its own unpredictable history and future.

 

Who are we looking for?

• You hold a degree in architecture or engineering-architecture.
• You preferably have five years of experience as an architect.
• You are creative, have an eye for detail, are communicative and have the necessary sense of responsibility.
• You have sufficient knowledge of Dutch for the role of project manager (chairing meetings, conducting conversations, writing emails and reports, etc.). You are familiar with professional jargon and technical terminology in Dutch.
• You work effortlessly with AutoCAD (2D), Sketchup (3D) and MS Office. Proficiency in BIM/Revit is an asset.

• With more than 5 years of experience you are appointed as project manager. You work independently on your project and report back to your supervisor on a regular basis. During busy periods and for more complex projects, you can count on the support of one or more colleagues.
